New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi has completed 2900 episodes.’YRKKH’, which was launched in January 2009, is one of the longest running shows on Indian television. At a time when shows go off air within six months of getting launch, ‘Yeh Rishta’ has successfully completed glorious 10 years and 2900 episodes. The daily soap has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets with its drama-packed episodes.

Mohsin Khan, who plays the role of Kartik Goenka in the show, took to his Instagram story to congratulate the fans for completion of 2900 successful episodes. Sharing a photo with co-star Shivangi aka Naira, the handsome actor wrote, ‘’Congratulations to each n everyone 2900 episodes Yeh Rishta.’’

Mohsin Khan’s chemistry with Shivangi Joshi has helped the show grab several eyeballs. Their fans have given them the moniker ‘KaIra’.


‘Yeh Rishta’ is doing quite well in terms of TRPs and the show bagged the fifth spot in the latest set of BARC ratings. The show started in 2009 with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as leads. The story shifted to their daughter Naira when the two actors left the show.

Talking about the current track, the makers plan to follow the film ‘Abhimaan’. They have successfully wrapped up the Puru mama track and fans are looking forward to see how Naira manages to do in office.
