TV actress Divyanka Triptahi, who is currently playing the lead role of 'Ishita Bhalla' in long-running 'Star Plus' show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' opposite Karan Patel, has been a part of the show ever since in went off-air in 2013. The role of much-loved 'Ishi Maa' boosted Divyanka's career as her other shows post 'Dulhann' failed to grab TRPs. After ruling the TV industry, Divyanka is now all set to make her digital debut with Ekta Kapoor's OTT platform ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series.

The speculations of Divyanka playing a chef started doing the rounds when Ekta Kapoor recently commented on the actress' recent Instagram post in which she promoted ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series 'Home'.

After which, Ekta officially announced the show and tweeted, "Ok since ppl got it! An official statement! A love story between two chefs! That shared pain betrayal a past and the love for FOOD!most love stories end in a kitchen this started in one  @dorisdey209 @jaya_mishra"




Speaking about the show, a source told Indian Express that, “The show will be a mature love story. It will be an emotional tale and will also have a tinge of comedy. Both Ekta and Divyanka are quite excited to start this new journey. Once the male lead is confirmed, the show will go on floors. It’s expected to launch by end of the year. Popular author Jaya Misra will pen the story for Ekta.
