New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar is back on the small screen with the fifth season of the popular chat show 'Koffee with Karan' on November 6. It will be aired on Star World and Star World HD.
Interestingly, this time the show is going to come with various new twists. One of them is the special emoji curated by Twitter through which users can engage, interact and join the conversation for the entire show.
The emoji will be the signature yellow coffee cup which Karan has always used in the show.
Also, every week the show will announce a new hashtag fashioned on the name of the celebrity guest. The hashtag will also activate the special emoji. That means one can tweet using #KoffeeWithKaran, #KWKonSW and #KWK and the iconic yellow coffee mug emoji will appear next to the hashtag in the tweet.
The first episode is going to have Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt promoting their upcoming film Dear Zindagi.
In its past seasons as well, the show has been graced by a string of A-list actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and more at their candid best.
The first ever emoji that the social networking site launched was for the wildly popular reality show Bigg Boss 10. Users could see the 'Bigg Boss'’ iconic eye icon when they used hashtags like #BiggBoss, #BiggBoss10 and #BB10.
