New Delhi: Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most loved television series. It has managed to keep the audience stick to their television sets with its entertaining episodes. The popular sitcom has successfully completed over 12 years and enjoys a significant fan following from all age groups. The show completed its 3000 episodes on September 24, 2020.

The maker of the show Asit Kumarr Modi has however tested positive for COVID-19. The producer took to his Twitter and informed that after witnessing some symptoms of coronavirus, he got himself tested. Unfortunately, the result came positive and the producer has isolated himself. His tweet read, “After some symptoms of COVID19,I got myself tested & Report came positive.I have isolated myself.I request who has come in my contact to be careful and follow the protocol.आप मेरी चिंता ना करें,आप के प्यार प्रार्थना आशीर्वाद से मैं जल्दी ठीक हो जाऊँगा.आप मस्त स्वस्थ रहें”

‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has resumed its shoot on July 2020 after the government eased the lockdown protocols.

One of the longest-running shows of television, ‘TMKOC’ was initially made for channels like Star Plus and Zee, but it got rejected Sony SAB accepted the script. Asit Kumarr Modi revealed in one of his interviews that it took eight years to get this show on air.

‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been dubbed in other languages. The series has been dubbed in Telugu as ‘Tarak Mama Ayyo Rama’ and in Marathi as ‘Gokuldhamchi Duniyadaari’.

Meanwhile, other than ‘TMKOC’, Asit Kumarr Modi has also produced other serials including ‘Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai!’, ‘Krishnaben Khakhrawala’, ‘Pyaar Mein Twist’, ‘Meri Biwi Wonderful’ and others. He was also amongst the first nine citizens of India selected by PM Narendra Modi to promote his ‘Clean India Campaign’.
