New Delhi: Popular TV actor Dilip Joshi, who is fondly known for his role of Jethalal in Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has turned a year older on Sunday (May 26). The talented actor is known for his immense comic timings and has won several awards for his performance in the sitcom.

Dilip Joshi’s co-stars from the show Shailesh Lodha and Munmun Dutta wished the actor on his birthday.

Shailesh, who plays the role of Taarak Mehta in the show, took to Instagram to post a birthday wish for Joshi.

On the professional front, Dilip Joshi made his acting debut as Ramu in Salman Khan's 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. He has appeared in films like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’.

The 51-year-old actor shot to fame after playing the role of Jethalal in ‘TMKOC’. He revealed in an interview that he was jobless for year before signing ‘Taarak Mehta’.

Today, Dilip Joshi stands as one of the most loved actors on Indian television. His show is doing quite well in terms of TRPs and will soon complete eleven successful years in July.
