New Delhi: Popular TV actor Shakti Arora managed to win hearts with his performance as Kunal in Colors TV’s ‘Silsila-Badalte Rishton Ka’. Although, the show couldn’t rake in huge TRPs, Shakti’s chemistry with Drashti Dhami and Aditi Sharma was appreciated by the fans.


The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor’s mother Renu Arora recently underwent a knee replacement surgery. Shakti shared a picture from the hospital along with an emotional caption.

‘’After her knee replacement surgery.. I have never seen her in a hospital in my lifetime n I hope and pray I never see you in a hospital again. I must say after seeing u go through so much you are a fighter. You are very brave. Like they say my daddy strongest.. I can proudly say my mommy strongest too..@renuaroralab #mom,’’ the caption read.

On the professional front, Shakti Arora made his TV debut with ‘Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai’. He later went on to do roles in 'Left Right Left', 'Baa Bahoo Aur Baby', 'Tere Liye' and 'Pavitra Rishta'.

However, it was the role of Ranveer Vaghela in ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’, which made Shakti a household name. The show marked the TV debut of Radhika Madan, who has now shifted based to Bollywood films.
