Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan has said that he will not be going on his actor friend Salman Khan's popular show "Bigg Boss" to promote his upcoming film "Dangal".
"I am not going on television to promote the film. We will have trailer and promo of our film," Aamir replied when asked about his plans to promote the film on Salman's "Bigg Boss".
"I am sure he loves to promote my film. Even I love to promote his film. I am dying to show him 'Dangal' as well," Aamir added.
Earlier, Salman played the role of a wrestler in "Sultan" and now Aamir will also be seen portraying a wrestler - Mahavir Singh Phogat - in "Dangal".
When asked if he discussed anything about wrestling with the "Dabangg" star, Aamir said, "No I did not discuss. We had our coach Kripa Shankar Singh to train us, he has contributed immensely to our film."
In the upcoming biographical sports film "Dangal", Aamir, 51, will be seen in two different avatars one where he is sporting a lean and muscular look and other where he is seen as a bulky person.
During the promotions of "Sultan" Salman had said that he had advise Aamir to not to sport six pack abs when playing a wrestler.
"There are different kinds of wrestlers. Like in a 'akhada' you will see a wrestler who does mud fighting and is huge and has a paunch. But then there is Sushil Kumar (wrestler) who has a six pack and he is fit. Even Geeta and Babita are fit and have no ounce of fat on them," he said.
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" turned out to be a blockbuster, while the fate of "Dangal" will be known when it releases on December 23.
