New Delhi: Colors TV’s ‘Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television seats with its drama-packed episodes. The social drama stars Rubina Dilaik and Vivian Dsena as Saumya and Harman respectively.

Speculations are rife that ‘Shakti’ would soon take a generation leap. Although, the makers are yet to confirm the development, fans are wondering if Rubina and Vivian will continue to be a part of the show or not.

Amidst the buzz of the leap, the makers have plans to introduce a new character opposite Vivian aka Harman.

A report in a leading daily has suggested that ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Sareeka Dhillion will enter as the new girl in Harman’s life.

‘Swabhimaan’ fame actor Sahil Uppal has already been paired opposite Rubina aka Saumya. The makers are now planning to introduce the track of Harman’s wedding.


Talking about the same Sareeka told Times Of India, "I play the character of Mahi, who is a very positive, shy and polite girl. Harman's parents spot her at a wedding and develop an immediate liking for her. They are looking for someone who can give a happy family life to Harman and Mahi fits the bill according to them. She will be the new girl in Harman's life. The two will soon get married on the show."

Sareeka has started shooting for 'Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' and she posted a photo from the sets along with the caption, ''Hi all,
Do watch me in “SHAKTI ASTITVA KE EHSAAS KI” as MAAHI on colors tv at 8 pm from tomorrow onwards.''


On the professional front, Sareeka has been part of shows like ‘Ghulaam’, ‘Dev 2’. She is fondly known for playing the role of Saarika Singh in Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’.
