TV actor Rohan Mehra, who was last seen in 'Bigg Boss 10', is all set to be back on TV with long-running Colors show 'Sasural Simar Ka'. The actor is all set to play the new male lead on the popular show & it will be his comeback to fiction shows after a break of almost nine months. Reportedly, his character name will be Sameer & he will play the role of London return NRI on the show.

Speaking about Rohan's entry in the show, a source told a leading daily that, "'Sasural Simar Ka' will be changing gears and the focus will now be on the younger generation. Rohan will be seen playing the male protagonist Sameer, who is an NRI from London and his entry will result in a love triangle between him and Simar's (Keerti Gaekwad) daughters Anjali (Vaishali Thakkar) and Sanjana (Krissann Barretto). The makers have decided to introduce the new generation to infuse a new life into this long-running show."

Rohan also confirmed the news & is excited to be back on TV. Speaking about the same, he told TOI that, "Yes, I am going to be a part of 'Sasural Simar Ka'. After 'Yeh Rishta' and 'Bigg Boss' I wanted to do something different and when 'Sasural Simar Ka' came my way, I lapped it up immediately since it seems to be a good role and different from the ones I have played so far."

Rohan made his TV debut on Channel V's show 'Gumrah: End of Innocence'. He has worked as a commercial model and in the films 'Uvaa' and 'Sixteen'.
