Popular Star Plus show 'Sanjivani', featuring Gurdeep Kohli, Mihir Mishra, Roopali Ganguly among others in pivotal roles, is set to come back on TV with a remake. There are reports that 'Ishqbaaaz' fame Surbhi Chandna[Surbhi Chandna to start shooting for 'Sanjivani' remake from THIS month?] and Manit Khanna will play lead roles in the remake whereas originial 'Sanjivani' actors Gurdeep Kohli and Mohnish Bahl will also be a part of this. Now the latest reports suggest that, the makers of 'Sanjivani' remake have approached Sayantani Ghosh to play an important character.

According to a Tellychakkar report, "Bengali beauty Sayantani Ghosh has been approached to play a pivotal role in the show."
However, the actress is yet to react on the same.

After the success of 'Sanjivani', the show's makers launched its sequel 'Dill Mill Gayye' in the year 2007. Featuring Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Karan Wahi, Shilpa Shukla among others, 'Dill Mill Gayye' too went on to become one of the most loved shows on Indian Television.

Coming back to Sayantani Ghosh, the talented actress made her TV debut with Juhi -Parmar & Hussain Kuwajerwala's hit show 'Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan'. Post 'Kumkum', she went on to feature in various shows like 'Comedy Circus', 'Naaginn', 'Bigg Boss 6', 'Mahabharat', 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar', 'Sasural Simar Ka' among others and most recently was seen in 'Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara'.
