The hot hunk of television who's popularly known as 'Samay/Rajeev', the negative character from Sony TV's popular romantic thriller show 'Beyhadh' has been arrested and produced before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday for allegedly raping a 23-year-old fashion designer after he had been in a live-in relationship with her for the last two months.






According to TOI, 35 yr old Piyush was arrested on November 22nd after the victim lodged a complaint on November 20. Versova police senior inspector Kiran Kale confirmed Sahdev's arrest and said he is in police custody till November 27th. "Sahdev has been booked under the Indian Penal Code section 376 (1) (rape)," said Kale.

It was also told that he committed the offence after gaining the victim's trust and promising to help her shaping her modelling and acting career.

Last seen on Colors show 'Devanshi', Piyush has also appeared on multiple other shows including 'Geet', 'Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya', 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' as Lord Ram and 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke'.
