Actor Rajeev Khandelwal left Ekta Kapoor's TV show 'Kahiin To Hoga' at the peak of his popularity as 'Sujal' to join films. But most of his films failed at the box office and few days ago there were reports that Rajeev is all set to make his comeback on TV. But now, there's a bad news for the actor's fans as Rajeev has been replaced by actor Iqbal Khan in his comeback show, reportedly.

According to an entertainment portal, "Star Plus is gearing up for an upcoming show based on crime stories which will be solved by STF (Special Task Force). If all goes well, Mohammed Iqbal Khan who was last seen in the &TV show Waaris will make a comeback on small screen with this show."

The SpotboyE report further states that, "Rajeev Khandelwal was supposed to play this character, but now Iqbal has replaced him. We hear, Rajeev excused himself citing date issues."

After being loved as 'Sujal' in 'Kahiin To Hoga', Rajeev quit the show and made his debut with the critically-acclaimed film "Aamir" in 2008. After which he went on to do films like 'Shaitaan', 'Table No. 21', 'Peter Gaya Kaam Se' among others.

Last seen in the 2016 film Fever opposite 'Bigg Boss' hottie Gauahar Khan, Rajeev still enjoys a huge fan-following on TV and has been a part of popular shows like 'Left Right Left', 'Sach Ka Saamna', 'Reporters' among others.

Iqbal Khan, who also made his TV debut with Ekta Kapoor's hit show 'Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai', was last seen in a lead role in Sony TV's 'Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do' opposite Mona Singh as a terrorist after which he made few cameo appearances in shows like 'Waaris', 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' & 'Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant'.
And, if this news turns out to be true then the fans of Rajeev Khandelwal have to wait a little longer to see him back on their TV screens.
