Salman Khan is all set to be back on TV as a host with the upcoming season of Sony TV's 'Dus Ka Dum'. Reportedly, the 'Dabangg' actor is also in talks with the same channel for another TV show to be produced by him. The show will be based on Mumbai Police & will explore the life of cops on & off duty.

Reportedly, the leads of the show are locked & it'll go on-air from the next month on Sony TV.

According to a leading daily, "Actor Mukul Dev, who was last seen in the 21 Sarfarosh: Sargarhi 1897 on a historical battle, plays the lead in this cop-drama. Pooja Gor who became a household name with the soap, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya has been cast opposite him."

Speaking about the show, a source told the daily that, "Writer Sridhar Raghavan, who has written films like Rohan Sippy’s light-hearted Bluffmaster and Rajkumar Santoshi multistarrer Khakee, among others, has written the script."
The source further told Mumbai Mirror that, "The team has been researching stories on real-life cops from Mumbai."

Salman Khan was reportedly keen on making his TV debut as a producer with a show on wrestler Gama Pehelwan with brother Sohail Khan in the lead for 'Star Plus'. But, the show has now been postponed towards the end of this year. Hence, the 'Sony TV' show will be his debut as TV producer and he's also looking after the show’s progress.

If this turns out to be true then actress Pooja Gor will be making her comeback on TV after around 3 years with this show. She was last seen playing the lead role of a doctor in Life OK's medical drama 'Ek Nayi Ummeed - Roshni' which went off-air in 2015.
