TV actress Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut earlier this year with Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of jhansi' and received positive response for her performance. Now, her 'Pavitra Rishta' co-star Asha Negi is all set to enter Bollywood very soon. Yes, you read that right! Asha Negi, who is best known for playing the role of 'Poorvi' in Zee TV's 'Pavitra Rishta' opposite Rithvik Dhanjani, has reportedly bagged her first film. The talented actress will make her big screen debut with Anurag Basu's upcoming multi-starrer film.

According to a leading daily, the popular TV actress will romance Abhishek Bachchan in Basu's yet-untitled flick.

Revealing the same, the TOI report states that, "She has been signed on to play Abhishek Bachchan’s love interest in Anurag Basu’s next, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Aditya Roy Kapur."

The actress as well as makers are yet to react on the same. However, if this turns out to be true then, it'll be a big Bollywood launch for Asha Negi.

Speaking further about the much-awaited film, it'll have four intersecting stories and it is not a sequel to the filmmaker's 2007 film 'Life In A...Metro' as speculated. The multi-starrer film will also have a bit of crime and dark humour in it. The film will hit the theatres next year.

Coming back to Asha Negi, the actress made her TV debut with Star Plus show 'Sapnon Se Bhare Naina' featuring Parvati Vaze and Gaurav S Bajaj in lead roles. She first got noticed for her role in Sakshi Tanwar & Ram Kapoor's much-loved Sony TV show 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain' and became a household name after 'Pavitra Rishta'. She then went on to be a part of various shows like 'Ek Mutthi Aasmaan', 'Nach Baliye 6', 'Indian Idol Junior', 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 6', 'Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan' among others.

She recently made her digital debut with ALTBalaji's web-series 'Baarish' opposite Sharman Joshi.
