Top-rated 'Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' went on-air in January 2009 with Hina Khan & Karan Mehra in lead roles. The show, which now has Shivangi Joshi & Mohsin Khan as leads, is still ruling the TRP charts even after more than 9 years of airing. After the recently introduced lead, protagonists Kartik (Mohsin) & Naira (Shivangi) are going through a separation. While Naira is pursuing her education in a Mumbai college, Kartik is her professor. In the current track of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', it was shown that Naira twists her ankle after which Kartik takes her to the doctor.

In the upcoming episodes of the show, a huge twist will take place which will shock the viewers. Reportedly, Kartik will learn about Naira's accident. He will get to know that Naira wears prosthetic legs. Apart from this, Kartik will know that the accident happened when Shubham (Gaurav Wadhwa) died two years ago.

According to Tellychakkar, After knowing all these, Kartik will realize that Naira won’t be able to dance ever because of his family and him. He will curse himself for not being by her side when she needed her. And in this feeling of remorse, he will decide to commit suicide.
