The couple met each other for the first time six years ago through a common friend. Sayantani & Anuragh even parted ways few months ago but they have reunited now and are in a happy space.
Speaking about her beau Anuragh, Sayantani told a leading daily that, "Since my parents live in Kolkata, Anugrah is my family away from family, and a companion. We are best friends, who are extremely supportive of each other. He is special, but I can’t give our relationship a name, yet. I don’t want to tag it socially for the heck of it. We are in a happy and peaceful space together. It’s a meaningful relationship and hereon, whatever decision we take, will be for a better future, and I am positive about it. It’s good for two people to grow together."

Talking about their marriage plans, Sayantani further told TOI that, "I guess, we are still discovering each other. Sometimes, an independent mind can lead to a lot of complications in your thinking. It’s not always right or wrong. We aren’t thinking about marriage yet, and are taking each day as it comes. At the moment, I am married to my work."
Earlier, Sayantani dated an actor for almost a decade but they later broke-up but now the actress has moved and is content with her life.
On the professional front, Sayantani Ghosh made her TV debut with Juhi -Parmar & Hussain Kuwajerwala's hit show 'Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan'. Post 'Kumkum', she went on to feature in various shows like 'Comedy Circus', 'Naaginn', 'Bigg Boss 6', 'Mahabharat', 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar', 'Sasural Simar Ka' among others and most recently was seen in 'Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara'.
