New Delhi: Veteran TV actress Nilu Kohli, who has done several shows like ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’, ‘Shashtri Sisters’ and ‘Jamai Raja’, is on cloud nine as her daughter Sahiba Kohli has tied the knot. Nilu, who was last on TV seen as Harleen Khanna in ‘Naamkarann’ invited her co-stars from the show for her daughter’s wedding. Shruti Ulfat, Sanjay Swaraj, Sayantani Ghosh attended the wedding which took place at grand hotel in Mumbai.

Sayantani, who played the role of Neela in ‘Naamkarann, shared several pictures from the wedding on Instagram.

Shruti Ulfat, who played Nilu’s on-screen daughter-in-law in ‘Naamkarann’, also shared several pictures on social media. She also congratulated Nilu Kohli for her daughter’s wedding.

Several TV stars like Anita Kanwal, Usha Bachani, Shruti Ulfat, Ridheema Tiwari, Jaskaran Gandh were also present at the wedding.

Before the marriage, the pre-wedding functions including mehendi and sangeet took place at a farmhouse. Ridheema Tiwari, who will be next seen in ‘Divya Drishti’, shared pictures from the sangeet ceremony. She also shared a picture with the bride Sahiba on Instagram.

Zain Imam, who played the lead role in ‘Naamkarann’, also attended the pre-wedding functions.


On the professional front, Nilu was last seen in the film ‘Manmarziyaan’, where she played Abhishek Bachchan’s mother. Nilu is currently seen in Sab TV’s show Band Baaja Bandh Darwaza'.
