TV star Parth Samthaan is currently winning hearts for his performance as 'Anurag Basu' in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot also featuring Erica Fernande and Karan Singh Grover in lead roles. The talented actor, who rose to fame after playing 'Manik' in 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' opposite Niti Taylor, will soon be seen in an upcoming ALTBalaji web-series. Parth Samthaan is said to be playing a gangster in the web show. Now latest buzz suggests that, the makers have finally found their leading lady.

After romancing Erica Fernandes in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', Parth Samthaan will reportedly be seen sharing screen-space with a Bollywood actress in the web-series.

According to a Tellychakkar report, "Jannat fame Sonal Chauhan is most likely to play the lead role in the web-series."

However, Parth, Sonal as well as makers are yet to react on the same.

On a related note, Sonal Chauhan made her Bollywood debut with the hit film 'Jannat' opposite Emraan Hashmi. Post 'Jannat', she went on to feature in films like 'Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap', '3G', 'Paltan' among others and made her digital debut earlier this year with ZEE5's 'Slyfire' co-starring Prateik Babbar'.

Coming back to ALTBalaji's much-awaited web-series, it is reportedly titled 'MUMbhai'  and will revolve around the friendship between a cop and a gangster. 'MUMbhai', to be helmed by Apoorva Lakhia and Akshay Chaubey, to also feature talented actors like Angad Bedi and Sikander Kher will be seen playing the role of a cop and a gangster, respectively.

This will be Parth Samthaan's third digital show after 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 3' and 'Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2'. On the career front, Parth Samthaan made his TV debut in the year 2012 with shows like 'Gumrah: End of Innocence' & 'Best Friends Forever?'. He became popular with 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' opposite Niti Taylor and is currently basking in the success of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' which is one of the most popular shows on Indian Television.
