When the 'awkward-sounding' sounding mother finishes speaking in the end of this 2 minutes long film packed with heart melting moments, you get a shock!

And that is the powerful message this film wants to get across to everyone watching it. As beautiful a feeling as it is to be a mom, it is also equally demanding for both, biological and adoptive mother.

They are 'Equal Moms'!

The child needs constant attention, care and love.

This film is in regard with The Maternity Benefit Amendment Bill, 2016 that was passed by the Lok Sabha two months ago on 9th March, a day after the International Women’s Day.

Paid maternity leave, under the 1961 Act, was previously for 12 weeks but this got extended to 26 weeks.

However, the adoptive mothers were not given this benefit. Bill allows them only 12 weeks paid leave for those mothers who adopt children under the age of three months. The leave will commence from the date the child is handed over to the adoptive parent or the commissioning mother.

Priya, who recently grabbed eyeballs with a topless picture she posted on Instagram, is always seen making strong points very boldly.

The glamorous Priya even went braless to protest againt the censor removing the Bra-scene from Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra starrer 'Baar Baar Dekho'.

This time the 'Posh Spice' (name given to her inside 'Big Brother Australia 2014') was seen in never-seen-before avatar and that too for a cause yet again.

Priya also shared this video on Instagram and wrote in caption - "Here is a snippet. For the full short film, click on the link in bio ???? #EqualMoms and #HappyMothersDay in advance to everyone who mothers anyone."

Video released by The Logical Indian says this in it's message - Through a powerful, intriguing narrative, the #EqualMoms film depicts that an adopted child, like any other child, needs his mom as much and ask the question should there be discrimination when it comes to moms & maternity leave? This Mother’s Day, The Logical Indian urges everyone to join the #equalmoms conversation.

We got in touch with Priya, who's fighting for this cause and we asked her does she have any plans to have a baby in near future.

Priya replied with - "I do intend to have children some day, be it my own or adopted or a mix of both".

She added - "Motherhood is indeed a choice and not a compulsion on women but it is a beautiful thing. I extend my wishes to everyone who mothers anyone in anyways."

Having tied the knot with Bhushan Malik on April 13th, 2008, the couple recently celebrated their 9th Marriage Anniversary and obviously now we know they do plan for children and she did not deny the possibility of adoption either. They could go for one natural and one adopted child.

And the hubby wished her back with the video in which they adorably share a lip kiss.

We asked Priya, when does she see it happening finally?

Priya replied: "Within 2 years"
