Sony TV's 'Indian Idol 11' is making headlines ever since the popular singing reality show hit the TV screens few weeks ago. While 'Indian Idol 11' is fetching great TRPs and is one of the most watching reality shows, it is also in news for wrong reasons. Anu Malik, who was accused of sexual misconduct when #MeToo movement picked up last year, made his comeback as a judge in 'Indial Idol 11' this year. The channel has been receiving backlash for the same. Now, latest buzz suggests that the channel is thinking to replace Anu Malik as 'Indial Idol 11' judge this year as well.

Speaking about the same, a source told Bollywood Hungama that, "Anu Malik may be shown the door in the next few weeks. They thought the backlash against him had quietly died down. They never anticipated this new rising roar of protest against his return to the show."

However, Anu Malik as well as 'Indian Idol 11' makers are yet to react on the same.

Last year. during 'Indial Idol 10', singer-composer Anu Malik was removed from the jury panel as he was accused of sexual misconduct. In October 2018, Anu had been accused by singers Sona Mohapatra and Shweta Pandit, who called him a "paedophile" and a "sexual predator". He had denied the allegations then.

When the news of Anu Malik making his comeback in 'Indian Idol' came out, singer Sona Mahapatra criticized the decision. Reacting to Sona's criticism, Bollywood singer Neha Bhasin too came out with her #MeTooIndia story about 'Indian Idol 11' judge saying "Anu Malik is an ugly pervert".

Most recently, singer Hema Sardesai (Awaara Bhanware fame) reacted on the same and came out in Anu Malik's support. She backed the singer-music composer in a long note on social media and slammed the accusers by saying ‘It takes two hands to clap right?’
