New Delhi: Zee TV’s top show featuring Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia, Kumkum Bhagya was on number one since 8 weeks but the points dripped in the last week. Show could not make it to top 5 in the TRP charts last week, so makers must be quite worried about it. Insipite of that, what they were most worried about was finding new ‘Purab’ and their search ended with 'Madhubala' actor.
Arijit Taneja, who played the role on Purab in the show, bid adieu to the serial last week. Since then makers were searching actor who could perfectly fit in the role of Purab. Production team has now have finalized Gunjan Utreja for the role of Purab. Actor played the character of AK aka Abhay Kapoor in hit show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
Actor was last seen on Zindagi channel where he hosted ‘Shukriya Zindagi’ and is coming back to TV after two years.
