After a long gap of 4 years, Sony TV's much-loved show 'Comedy Circus' if finally coming back. The upcoming season of  'Comedy Circus' is set to go on floors & the rehearsals for the same have already started. The show's makers have signed many popular TV actors to be a part of the show & one of them was 'Kundali Bhagya' lead actor Dheeraj Dhoopar aka 'Karan Luhtra'. But there's a bad news for the fans of Dheeraj Dhoopar! Reportedly, the actor has backed-out of the much-awaited show at the last moment.

After Dheeraj's exit, the makers then approached TV actess Anita Hassanandani & she then replaced the 'Kundali Bhagya' actor in 'Comedy Circus'

Comedy Circus: After Anita Hassanandani, another 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actress BAGS the show!

According to an entertainment portal, "Dheeraj opted out of it a day before the shoot commenced, and the makers have roped in Anita Hassanandani to step in for him."

Dheeraj too confirmed the same and told TOI that, “I was excited about exploring something new in my career. However, during rehearsals, I realised that it required a great amount of prep and I didn’t want to be less prepared. With a tight schedule (he plays the male lead on 'Kundali Bhagya'), it wouldn’t have been possible to invest so much time on another show, which is why I opted out.”

Few days ago, Anita happily announced the same on social media. The TV actress, who also has shows like 'Naagin 3' and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' in her kitty, is very excited to be a part of the show.

There is a huge buzz around the new season of 'Comedy Circus' which will see the return of Archana Puran Singh and Sohail Khan as judges.

Apart from Anita, the celebs who are said to be a part of 'Comedy Circus' are Karishma Sharma, Aditi Bhatia, Sana Saeed, Ojaswi Oberoi among others.
