Ever since three prominent members of the Kapil Sharma family, Sunil Grover aka Dr Mashoor, Ali Asgar aka Nani and Chandan Prabhakar aka Chandu chaiwala walked out of  'The Kapil Sharma Show', the makers are struggling with the show's poor ratings.

Since then many new actors including Dr Sanket Bhosle, Raju Srivastava, etc have been added to the Kapil Sharma's family to fill the void.

Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar are no more a part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

And the latest actor to join team Kapil is Supriya Shukla of 'Kumkum Bhagya' who plays the role of lead actress Sriti Jha's mother on show.

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ actress Sumona Chakravarti worked as a child actor in Manisha-Aamir’s ‘Mann’!

Supriya Shukla plays lead actress' mother's role on 'Kumkum Bhagya'

According to reports, Supriya will play a woman from Uttar Pradesh, who shifts to Mumbai. Speaking to a national daily, she says, "I was a bit nervous since this happens to be my first stint with comedy. However, Kapil and his team were really supportive. I will be bringing in the Kanpur flavour, and have worked hard along with the writers of the show on the lingo as well."

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ comedian Dr Sanket Bhosale helped Ranbir Kapoor to imitate Sanjay Dutt for the actor’s biopic!

Let's see if Supriya's entry on show brings the desired TRP or not because as of now the viewership of show has declined a lot!
