Mumbai: Popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh, fondly known for playing the role of Dev in ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, is all set to welcome his first child. Yes, you read that right! The small screen heartthrob and his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor, who got hitched in a court marriage in November 2020, will soon become parents.
According to a report in Times Of India, Shaheer has decided to keep the news under wraps due to the COVID-19 crisis in India. His wife is in her first trimester, the report in the daily added.

Both Shaheer and Ruchikaa are yet to confirm the news of her pregnancy. It remains to be seen if they will share a post on social media to announce the good news like other celebs or not.
Ruchikaa and Shaheer fell in love on the sets of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. Ruchikaa, who works in Ekta Kapoor’s company, recently shared a cute snap with her husband to celebrate ‘six months of together’.
The couple tied the knot in 2020 after dating each other for some time. They opted for a court marriage keeping in mind the pandemic.

On the professional front, Shaheer was last seen in ‘Paurashpur’, which beamed on ALTBalaji. The ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ actor will soon make his return to the small screen with ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3’. He will reprise his role of Dev in the upcoming romantic saga, which also features Erica Fernandes.
