Mumbai: Television actress Kishwer Merchant, who is all set to welcome her first child with husband Suyyash Rai, opened up about her unpleasant experience with ‘casting couch’ in the industry. The actress revealed that she had gone through the experience once in her life.
Kishwer Merchant, while in a conversation with a leading daily shared her experience of ‘casting couch’. Though she refused to reveal the name of the actor or producer, she disclosed that they were ‘very big names’. Kishwer told Times Of India, “My mother was accompanying me. I was told that I'll have to sleep with the hero. I politely turned down the offer and we left. I wouldn't say ki ye bahut hota hai or it's a normal thing. Industry badnaam hai lekin har industry mein ye cheez hoti hai.”
On a related note, Kishwer announced her pregnancy with an adorable social media post where Suyyash can be seen on his knees cradling Kishwer’s baby bump by the sea.
While sharing the picture, Kishwer wrote, “You can now stop asking "when are you guys gonna have a baby" Coming Soon .. #august2021 #sukishkababy Clicked by the most talented @pryanca_t ”
Kishwer also revealed her due month in this post. The couple is all set to welcome their little bundle of joy in August 2021.
Kishwer and Suyyash met on the sets of a popular TV show back in the year 2011. However, they made their relationship public when they came together on the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. The couple got married in the year 2016.
