Soap-queen Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring back the rebooted version of her iconic show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' on 'Star Plus'. Ever since she made the announcement on her social media account [READ HERE...], there are various rumours regarding the cast of the reboot version.

There were various reports that 'Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi' actor Shaheer Sheikh has been approached by the makers to replace Cezanne Khan as 'Anurag Basu' in the show [READ HERE...] .

But now the actor, who is celebrating his 34th birthday today (26th March) has finally reacted on the same. He has neither confirmed or denied being approached for 'Kasautii...' reboot.

Speaking about the same, he told Indian Express that, “Well, all I can say is that I am in talks with a lot of people but nothing has been finalised yet. I am looking out for work that would excite me and something that I haven’t done before. My fans expect a lot from me and I want to live up to that, and would only take up my next show when it satisfies all my creative requirements.”

In the original 'Kasautii...', Cezanne Khan played the role of 'Anurag Basu' & he became a household name due to the character's popularity. The popular 'Star Plus' was the story of lovers Anurag & Prerna (Shweta Tiwari) who never reunited. Apart from them, the roles played by Ronit Roy & Urvashi Dholakia became popular too.

Though the star-cast of show reboot version is not yet finalised, the show might get on air in September 2018.
