Parth was shooting for 'Kasautii 2’ in Mumbai when he received a call informing him about his father’s health. His dad was hospitalized in Pune and the actor immediately rushed to the hospital directly from the sets but he couldn’t reach on time. Parth shared a very close bond with his father and he recently purchased a flat in Mumbai for his parents.

Parth has now resumed shooting for ‘KZK 2’ from Sunday (April 21) after performing the last rites of his father. The show co-starring Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan is doing quite well in terms of TRPs.
