NEW DELHI:  TV actor Karanvir Bohra and wife Teejay Sidhu welcomed twin daughters last year in October. Babies were born in Vancouver, Canada where Teejay's family stays. Karanvir who was busy shooting for Colors' hit show 'Naagin' has often flown to Vancouver to meet new members of his family.


Teejay who spent most of her pregnancy days with her family finally returned to India with her twins and doting daddy was present at the airport to receive them. Karanvir's family greeted the new mommy and babies by performing rituals.

The 'Naagin 2' actor shared a picture on his Instagram page with a long caption. "Thank you all for your love and wishes, @bombaysunshine😘 and the #BohraBohra sisters have landed safely. #Miko & #Nonu ( official nicknames) The one in my hand is Miko, Elder by a minute, A fierce Lioness by nature.Tj says she looks Japanese, thus the name Miko-Tashi 🎎 And ofcourse the Tee is holding its the petite and dainty #Nonu, the name says it all, she is like a little doll princess 👰🏻 My excitement has no bounds, I can't even express the feeling I have when I look at these 2 I haven't slept more than 4 hours in the last 2days, and I've been doubling up with my regular shoot timings, now the daddy duty has hit me like a #thunderbolt ⚡️ But you know what? I'm loving it, staying up late, now has a purpose - good bye sleep, see you in a year or 2😘," he wrote.


Twins were looking super cute in the colour coordinated outfits. Both Karanvir and Teejay kept in casual for the occasion. The duo who tied the knot in 2006 plans to organise a special christening ceremony for their daughters.

On the work front, Karanvir is currently working on a short film which narrates the love story of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
