Karan Veer Mehra On His Relationship With Chum Darang And Plans To Propose Her: 'We'll See How Things Progress'

Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang's growing connection was one of the highlights of their time on 'Bigg Boss 18', sparking widespread interest among fans. Now, after emerging as the winner of the reality show, Karan Veer has opened up about his relationship with Chum and shared his plans for the future. In a recent conversation with The Times of India, he revealed when he plans to "officially propose" to her, as well as how their bond evolved during their time in the house.

Karan Veer expressed his confidence in Chum's success on the show, saying, "I was confident she would make it to the Top 5 because of Chum's journey in the show, and she did it. As for our relationship, it grew gradually over time, and we became protective of each other. We appreciated each other's habits, discovered many similarities, and complemented one another well. Now that we are out in the real world, it's up to her to decide where our relationship will go from here." 

When asked about proposing to Chum, Karan Veer shared a lighthearted moment, recalling what Chum had told him. "Yeah, Chum told me to win the trophy first and then ask her (proposal). Now that the trophy is home, once we step out of here, we'll see how things progress."

Chum Darang also shared her thoughts on Karan Veer's victory in an interview with ANI, calling him a "deserving winner." Reflecting on the journey, she admitted, "Honestly, I never imagined this. I haven't even processed how much love I'm getting yet. I'm just meeting everyone now, and it's such a great feeling. Reaching the top 5 feels like being a winner. I just don't have the trophy in my hand. Karan truly deserved to win. He received so much love from people, and he performed so well. I'm proud of him, and now the trophy is at his home--that's a good thing, isn't it?"

Their playful and often flirtatious moments inside the Bigg Boss house also caught fans' attention. One of the most talked-about incidents occurred when Karan Veer gave Chum a ‘love bite’ on her arm in the bathroom area, leaving Chum visibly annoyed. Despite the light-hearted gesture, Chum has always maintained a level of distance when it comes to public romantic displays. 

During a chat with fellow contestants Shrutika Arjun and Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum revealed that she had given Karan Veer a birthday kiss on his cheek.
