New Delhi: The recent eviction of Priyanka Jagga has not really shocked the audience much. With the kind of behavior that was portrayed by her on the show, every contestant was irritated with her and things were just getting worse in the Bigg Boss house. In the last weekend ka vaar, Salman Khan told Priyanka Jagga to leave the Bigg Boss house in his most angry self. He straightaway said, “Ye Show aapke layak nahi hai. Please leave MY home. My Home! My Home? Aha! Does the Bigg Boss house belong to its host Salman Khan? Isn’t that some revelation? And the channel airs his views on national television too. The real question here is that if Salman Khan’s ego has become bigger than the show and the production channel? With the kind of statement he gave last night, it seems that Salman Khan is playing God to contestants.

Ex Bigg Boss contestant Vindu Dara Singh has something to say about the whole thing. He said, “Salman Khan is Salman Khan. He is doing this show since 7 years. If someone does not respect the host, he can take a call as to what to do about it. This season has a lot of non celebrities and they can be cruel they can be rude as well. Priyanka was not able to understand what to do. This house is such that it creates a lot of pressure and even at my time I felt it. I also don’t blame her fully but when you are in the house, it is difficult to know how to deal with the situation. I can say that not only Priyanka but for that matter, Mona & baba are also the contestants who are not able to understand the situation and the game. Salman asked Jagga to leave ‘his’ home as he treats the show like his own and it’s his own baby. He is fully involved so he has the right to talk like that. When he saw that things were getting out of control, he took the matter in his hands and immediately asked Jagga to leave. So he very much did the right thing!”

Also, when Shakti Kapoor was asked about the same, he said that he was following the season but when Salman’s question popped up, he reacted quite weirdly and said that he was not following this season.

Ex Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Bedi straightaway said that she was not watching it and hence not interested in commenting while Sapna Bhavnani and Karishma Tanna did not react at all.

Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar who has handled the publicity for a full 20 celeb names which have been on Bigg Boss, analyses the situation with defining clarity. "One has to understand that over the various seasons, the focus in Bigg Boss has shifted from reality to staged reality," he says. The PR specialist points out, "Though Bigg Boss is not scripted, its heavily edited. In earlier seasons, equations between contestants used to slowly unfold like a story. But now, audiences are impatient. They want instant drama. So the show focuses more on tasks, role play and even reminds and pushes contestants to entertain. It has moved on from being a reality show in true sense and is treated more like a game. Even the contestants are encouraged to say they are playing their 'game' in Bigg Boss."

"At such a juncture, Salman Khan gets Bigg Boss the maximum eyeballs, almost 25 times more than the contestants or the show's concept of closed circuit voyeurism. Remove him from the equation and the show could become dull. Being already low on TRPs the show is not in a position to afford such a fall," concludes the Bollywood publicist. So where does that leave Bigg Boss? Yes, you guessed it right. With Salman Khan.

The BB house always BELONGED to the boss and the inmates. Salman only plays the host so when he said leave MY home, does that mean he really considers the show as his own or he knows the decision can be entirely his in the show. Is the show only of Salman?
