Well, the actor has hinted about quitting the show by posting a cryptic tweet earlier in the day.

In another tweet, the lead actor clarified why Ishita and Raman's romance is missing from the show for quite long.

However, later in the day, an entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, "Karan and the entire cast at YHM are very unhappy with the way the production people have treated them when it comes to contract renewals."
“Apart from that, he has also been facing issues at the creative level (thus the second tweet). Right now the track is focussing only on Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), and he has not much to do. Yesterday, Karan had a meeting with the creative team and it did not end on a good note. He was visibly upset. The tweets are a culmination of his distress," the source further added to the entertainment website.
It has also been reported that Karan shares a good bond with Balaji and head honcho Ekta Kapoor, so he will not quit the show.
