‘Bigg Boss 7’ winner Gauahar Khan’s father Zafar Ahmed Khan passed away on Friday (March 5) in Mumbai. The ‘Tandav’ actress got emotional while penning her thoughts about her father. She shared a post on social media to inform the fans about her father’s demise.
Gauahar posted a photo of her late dad along with the caption, “My Hero . No man like u, Ever! My father has passed, to the ever after as an Angel. Alhamdulillah. His passing away was a testament to his beautiful life n the best soul he was. I am so much of you Pappa . N yet can never ever be even a percent of your magnanimous personality.”

Several celebs including Hina Khan, Sunil Grover, Mahhi Vij, Karanvir Bohra and Kushal Tandon offered condolences to Gauahar and her family. Grover commented, “I am sorry to know. Prayers for your father and strength to the family.”
Hina Khan, who entered the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house along with Gauahar Khan and Sidharth Shukla, offered prayers for Khan’s father. She asked the ‘BB 7’ winner to stay strong in her post on Instagram story.

The actress-model had shared a family picture from her wedding reception a day before her father’s demise. She tied the knot with Zaid Darbar on Christmas 2020 in the presence of her loved ones.
The last rites of Gauahar’s father were performed on Friday afternoon in Mumbai. The actress was snapped by the paparazzi while she made arrangements for the funeral. Her husband Zaid Darbar and his brother Awez Darbar attended the last rites held at a crematorium in the city.
