Days after hitting the headlines over his shocking transformation, Splitsvilla 8 contestant Gaurav Arora, who is now Gauri made a revelation about being sexually abused at the age of 11.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Gauri revealed how she was raped by some of his friends who were 4-5 years elder to him. He said that when it happened, it was him who was blamed as he used to get dressed like a girl.

Gauri revealed: ”These were boys from my tuition class who were about six or seven years older than me. One day at the park, they got me to stay late and talked to me affectionately. Initially, I was revelling in the attention from the big boys. Maybe it was my innate attraction towards boys, which I am aware of now, but I was very innocent at the time. Before I knew it, they were caressing and kissing then manhandling me and molesting me and I was in pain. I knew this was wrong although I didn’t know exactly how,” she said.

Later, she told her mother about this who warned her against telling her father. But she nevertheless told him and he confronted the boys with the help of Police but he did not get much help. ‘Because I was different, it was as though I had asked for it.’ she adds.
