New Delhi: Popular TV actress Prachi Tehlan, who is fondly known for playing the role of Arzoo in Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, has tied the knot. The beautiful actress got married to her fiancé Rohit Saroha on Friday (August 7) amid the COVID-19 crisis. The wedding, which took place at a farmhouse in Delhi, was attended by close friends and family members.

Prachi took to social media to share the first picture from her wedding. She can be seen taking pheras in the photo. The caption for the post read, “7.8.2020 My Wedding Date.”

The newly married actress only gave us a glimpse of the wedding celebrations. She wore a red bridal attire for her special day. Check out the photo!



Prachi’s pre-wedding festivities started with the ‘bhaat’ ceremony on August 3. It was followed by the mehendi and haldi ceremony. The actress enjoyed her pre-wedding functions to the fullest and even danced with her grandmother on her sangeet night.



Prachi took nuptial vows with Rohit Saroha, who is a Delhi-based businessman and wildlife conservationist. The two lovebirds have been dating each other since 2012.

The couple took all the precautionary measures to ensure safety of the guests. They made proper arrangements for masks and sanitisers at the wedding venue. Prachi and Rohit invited only 50 guests for each function and requested them to carry their own masks.



On the professional front, Prachi was last seen in ‘Mamangam’, which also starred Mammootty. The actress made her TV debut with Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh Goyal starrer ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in 2016. She later went on to play the lead role in ‘Ikyawann’ opposite Namish Taneja.

Prachi, who is national level basketball player, has also worked in Punjabi films.
