Popular 'Star Plus' show 'Ishqbaaaz', featuring Nakuul Mehta & Surbhi Chandna in lead roles of 'Shivaay' & Anika', is in the news these days due to the upcoming generation leap. As reported earlier, Shurbhi Chandna as well as other lead stars Kunal Jaisingh (Omkaran), Shrenu Parikh (Gauri), Leenesh Mattoo (Rudra) & Mansi Srivastava (Bhavya) will not be a part of 'Ishqbaaaz' post-leap whereas Nakuul will play the role of his character Shivaay & Anika's son. Even before the leap, actress Mansi Srivastava has bagged another TV show.

According to a leading daily, Mansi has been signed on to play the antagonist on a supernatural show, titled 'Divya Drashti'.

Yes, you read that right!

Speaking about the same, a source associated with the show told TOI that, “Mansi will begin shooting for 'Divya Drashti' in a week or two. She has been roped into play the antagonist, who can go to any extent to acquire super powers. This is the first time she will explore the genre with a full-fledged show and will play a negative role. It seems like an apt project for her to test her versatility.”

However, Mansi is yet to react on the same.

Reportedly, 'Divya Drashti' will air on 'Star Plus' & might replace popular supernatural show 'Qayamat Ki Raat' featuring Vivek Dahiya and Karishma Tanna in lead roles.

On the career front, Mansi made her TV debut with Channel V's popular show 'Suvreen Guggal–Topper of The Year' as female lead Smriti Kalra's younger sister. She rose to fame after playing the lead role in Zee TV's 'Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se' & went on to feature in popular shows like 'Sasural Simar Ka', 'Neeli Chatri Waale' among others & became a household name as Bhavya from 'Ishqbaaaz'.
