TV actress Smriti Kalra, who is currently playing the lead role of 'Ahana' in Star Plus show 'Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara', was recently asked by the makers to shoot a kissing scene with co-star Aashim Gulati. But, the actress refused to shoot for the kissing scene.

(Photo: Star Plus) According to an entertainment portal, "A track in the matured love drama demanded a kissing scene between the two characters Ahana and Rehan played by Smiriti Kalra and Aashim Gulati respectively. However, a source reveals that Smiriti put her foot down and refrained to kiss on screen. The makers understanding her point didn’t force her to do the sequence."

I wasn’t comfortable doing a scene, so there is no smooch sequence happening. If I would have kissed him on television, everyone would have gone berserk and started writing about it which is something I’m not looking forward to.”
Sanjay & Smriti in 'Dil Sambhal...' The 'Star Plus' show is receiving a lot of critical-acclaim for its story & performances. But, the show is not infecting good numbers & there are also reports that 'Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara' might go off-air as well. Though nothing is confirmed yet. 'Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara' went on-air in October last year and also stars Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor in the lead. The show is an adaptation of a worldwide hit Turkish drama 'Aşk-ı Memnu'.
