TV actress Priya Bathija, who is currently seen playing the role of 'Asha' in &TV's 'Daayan' featuring Tina Datta & Mohit Malhotra in lead roles, got married to music arranger and DJ Kawaljeet Saluja on May 22 in 2017. But now, all is not well between the couple who tied the knot in a Gurudwara wedding. If the latest reports are to be believed, Priya Bathija and DJ Kawal are living separately since an year now and are likely to file for divorce.

Speaking about the same, a source told TOI that, "Problems started cropping up six months after their marriage. They tried counselling, but that didn’t help. Kawaljeet even shifted to Mumbai for a few months to resolve their differences, but it couldn’t fix things. They started fighting over petty issues, and it was best to live separately."

However, both Priya and Kawal are yet to react on the same.

On a related note, It was love at first-sight for Kawal who told a common friend that he wants to marry Priya. After which he met her parents & they had a roka ceremony. Priya was not sure about arrange marriage at first but after meeting Kawal she started liking him as well.

Priya was earlier married to ‘Kasturi’ actor Jatin Shah, who tied the knot with actress Aparna Singh in December 2015 after separating from her.

On the career front, Priya is a part of TV industry since a long time & has been a part of popular shows like 'Kasamh Se', 'Kitani Mohabbat Hai', 'The Buddy Project', 'Suryaputra Karn' among others.
