New Delhi: TV Priya Bathija, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Daayan’, filed a police complaint against her hubby DJ Kawaljeet Saluja last year. The actress accused him of domestic violence and said that he never took their relationship seriously. The news of their separation had shocked several fans and industry folks as the estranged couple got married in a dreamy wedding in a Gurudwara on May 22, 2017.


Priya, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that she will get divorced by June 2020.

Haan, June tak divorce mil jayega. It is better that my ordeal ends soon. It's time now that I focus only my career and family," Priya told SpotboyE.

The ‘Kasamh Se’ actress told the portal that she wanted to only focus on her career and health.


For the uninitiated, Priya was previously married to ‘Kasturi’ actor Jatin Shah. The two got divorced in 2011. Jatin tied the knot with actress Aparna Singh in December 2015.

On the professional front, Priya shot to fame after playing the lead role in Sony TV's ‘Khwaish’. She has also featured in shows like ‘Basera’ and ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’.
