Host Salman Khan praised Shardul and said that he achieved a lot in a short span of time. The 'Radhe' actor also said that there was not much difference in the number of votes between Rubina and Shardul. Usually, no elimination takes place during the Diwali week but Salman said, "Iss baar scene paltega (the scene will change)", refering to the tagline of the show.
'Bigg Boss 7' contestant Kamya Panjabi expressed her displeasure over Shardul's eviction. The 'Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' actress said that she is disappointed because Shardul got nominated by those who are not associated with the game.
"Kamaal hai na jisko uss ghar meh rehne ki sabse jyada zarurat thi uss @shardulpandit11 ko woh log aakar nominate kar gaye jinka game se koi lena dena hi nahi tha! Thoda toh soch lete aisa karne se pehle! Disappointed! All the very best shardul for ur future!," Kamya tweeted.
Shardul responded to Kamya's tweet and wrote that it was not in his hands to get visibility in the show.
For the uninitiated, Farah Khan and two journalists nominated Shardul Pandit during the 'BB Adalat' task. Several fans are also unhappy with Shardul's elimination as they believed he was promising and deserved another chance.
On a related note, 'Bigg Boss' has assigned a special power to Aly Goni, who is the captain of the 'BB 14' house. It remains to be seen which six contestants will get nominated for elimination.
Aly got a fight with Kavita Kaushik, who broke down into tears and told Jasmin Bhasin, "I don't deserve this show and nonsense."
