The twelfth season of India's biggest reality show 'Bigg Boss', which was hosted by Salman Khan, finally came to an end recently, on 30th December, with TV actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim declared as the winner beating former cricketer S. Sreesanth. The TV actress, who became a household name as Simar after popular Colors show 'Sasural Simar Ka', walked away with the winner's trophy and prize money of Rs. 30 lakh. Whereas the second runner-up of 'Bigg Boss 12', commoner Deepak Thakur too played smartly and quit the game for Rs. 20 lakh. Post grand finale, Deepak Thakur went back to his hometown Athar in Muzzafarpur, Bihar where he received a grand welcome.

As Deepak Thakur returned home along with money briefcase, hundreds of people gathered together to welcome the 'Bigg Boss 12' finalist in his hometown. Deepak posted few pictures on social media thanking them for the love. Posting the pictures of his grand welcome on Instagram, Deepak captioned them as, "Thanks a lot. Sabko dilse Aapke is pyar aur aashirwaad k liye ❤"

Ever since his return, various pictures & videos of Deepak Thakur from his village are doing the rounds on Internet. Few hours ago, he posted a video in which can be singing the song that he composed for Sreesanth during his stay in the 'BB' house. Take a look at the video below:


For the uninitiated, Deepak entered the controversial reality show with his 'jodidaar' Urvashi Vani. While Urvashi failed to make her presence felt in the 'Bigg Boss' house, Deepak came out as one of the most-popular contestants of Salman Khan's show.
