The other actor who's name has been circulating on social media as the probable male lead opposite Jenny is her Colors TV show 'Bepannaah' co-actor Harshad Chopda. The chemistry between Harshad's character Aditya Hooda and Jennifer's character 'Zoya Siddiqui' won the fans' hearts throughout it's run last year and they are too keen to see them back onscreen together.
The producer of 'Beyadh', Prateek Sharma, while addressing media during the launch of his Star Bharat show 'Sufiyana Pyaar Mera', was asked the same question.
Prateek confirmed the comeback of 'Beyhadh', saying - "While Beyhadh 2 will surely happen, with its content still under discussion, you will have to wait either till year end or early 2020 for the telecast. Even last time we had taken lots of time before going on the floors. We need to be bang on."
And when asked if the fans' demand will be met with, by casting jennifer's 'Bepannaah' co-actor Harshad opposite her in Beyhadh 2?, he said - "I can’t comment, for the actor has to fit the character; and the story is in the process of being weaved, as mentioned above."

And have the makers decided upon the male lead yet?
"It is too early to say, as we are still drafting the story and character sketches." -said Prateek
Jennifer played a grey character of Maya in 'Beyhadh' who was a dangerous and obsessive lover and even went on to kill people for her love Arjun. Jennifer had even gone bald(did not shave her hair but donned a bald cap) on the show after a leap.

Prateek was all praise for Jennifer while talking about 'Beyhadh' and we believe Maya will return with a lot of grey like before.
"I could not have thought anybody other than Jennifer could play this role. I have always maintained that this highly talented actor has surpassed my abilities as writer with her performances".
