The actress is a single mother. Earlier she got married in 2013 to a Gujarat-based businessman and had moved to Gujarat but is now back in Mumbai to pursue her career in Bollywood again. Sapna is also heading for a divorce.
While talking to TOI, she says, "I had to face many ups and downs. With too many problems and issues I had to relocate myself back to Mumbai with my only son, Tiger, who is now 5-years-old. I'm now fighting a divorce case with my husband. We both live separately."
In the 90s Sapna has been the muse for director Kanti Shah and she featured in most of his movies from 1998 to present. In-fact, she entered the film industry in the movie Gunda, which was directed by Kanti Shah and she was given a role as Mithun Chakraborty's sister in the film.
