Actor and former 'Bigg Boss 10' contestant Gaurav Chopraa who's remembered mostly for his TV show 'Uttaran', is now entering in the lead role of Zee TV's new supernatural thriller show 'Aghori'. Gaurav has been doing some web series recently which include ALT Balaji's 'Fourplay' & Viu's 'Love Lust & Confusion'. "For the past two and a half years, I was focusing on digital platforms as I wanted to experiment with contrasting and different roles. An actor always tries to showcase varieties in their roles," Gaurav said in a statement.

After experimenting with digital shows, the popular actor is  back in a never-seen-before avatar donning long beard, long hair holding a trishul and damroo in his hand as 'Aghori'. Gauarv shared first look pictures on social media today.

Captioning the picture, he wrote - "Here it is! A love story you haven't seen! Coming soon! @zee5"

Gaurav had shared another picture of his back in the same look a day ago, writing with it - "The first sneak peek ! Revealing the look tomorrow! Stay tuned !".

Gaurav wears a temporary tattoo divided in two halves, one of Lord Shiva and the other half is the weapon trident. He used two hashtage of #Ishaan and #Aghori 'in his caption which is very intriguing. Some reports said that Guarav would play the aghori at one hand and a modern character on the other.

Talking about his new show, Gaurav says - "The concept of 'Ek Shakti... Ek Aghori' (Zee TV show) is unheard of and the intrigue and eccentricity surrounding the show along with different layers of the character, are what drew me to the character. I am happy and excited about the show".

The female lead in 'Aghori' will reportedly be played by 'Agnifera' fame Simran Kaur and actor Parag Tyagi is also set to play lead role alongside these two.

Zee Tv's official handle shared the first teaser poster of the show on Instagram on Thursday. The 'Aghori' in this poster however seem to be Parag and this becomes interesting as it leaves us with a mystery over the story line of the show.

A story of love, mysticism and deceit, the fiction show will air on Zee TV soon.
