Actress Ashita Dhawan, who is playing the role of 'Chaitali Rathod' in 'Nazar', reacted on the same and told an entertainment portal that, "Agreed, our contract does wrap up, but I don’t think it will go off as we are doing quite well."
Whereas, a source told the portal that, "There are other shows on Star Plus that are doing worse than us (Dil To Happy Hai Ji and Divya Drishti), so if a call needs to be taken, they have other options to consider."

The source also added, "It is not always only about numbers; sometimes the channel wants new strategies. If you remember, both Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai were doing decent when Star pulled the plug on them as well."
Harsh Rajput, who is playing the role of daavansh 'Ansh' in 'Nazar', told IWMBuzz that, "I have not heard any such chatter. Plus the fact that we are doing quite well even during the second innings of IPL death overs shows our mettle. I will go to the extent of saying that we have given rebirth to the late night 11 pm slot, which was out of sync for a long time."
He further added, "Having said that, if the end does come, no regrets, for we have had a great journey. I personally got a chance to play so many different sub-characters, Davansh’s double role, etc."
However, the makers of 'Nazar' are yet to react on the same. Now, only time will tell if 'Nazar' will bid goodbye to the viewers or not.
