New Delhi: Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer K L Rahul are all set to get married, which is indeed going to be one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings. While the couple continues to post images of themselves together on social media, Athiya's father, Suniel Shetty, has revealed details about their wedding.

At the launch event of Suniel Shetty's crime thriller 'Dharavi Bank', the actor was asked about the wedding, and he made an interesting revelation. The senior actor, who is thrilled about his daughter's wedding, said that it will take place soon. According to reports the 'Hera Pheri' actor said, "Jaldi hogi," and that the big news is on its way.

This is not the first time that Suniel has spoken about Athiya and KL Rahul's wedding. Earlier this year, when he was asked about the wedding by another entertainment portal, Suniel had said, "I think Jaise hi bachhe decide karenge (it will happen as soon as the kids decide). Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Asia Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na?

Athiya Shetty and K L Rahul have been in a relationship for three years but made their relationship public just a few months ago, after the premiere of Ahan Shetty's debut film- 'Tadap'.

Earlier, Athiya had dismissed the rumours on her Instagram story, writing, "I hope I'm invited to this wedding that's taking place in 3 months, lol.", while Suniel Shetty had previously stated that the couple would marry only after they completed their professional obligations.

According to Pinkvilla, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have decided against having a lavish wedding at a 5-star hotel. Instead, they intend to marry at Suniel Shetty's Khandala mansion, 'Jahaan.' A well-known wedding planner was reportedly sighted at the actor's home to finalise the décor and other arrangements.

On the work front, Suniel Shetty's web series 'Dharavi Bank' was released on MX Player on November 19 while he might also be starring in the third instalment of the 'Hera Pheri' franchise. On the other hand, Athiya Shetty was last seen in the 2019 film 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' and also made her debut on You Tube as she opened a channel a few months ago.
