New Delhi: A particular 1980s classic will serve as a reference point for the fourth season of Netflix's supernatural sensation 'Stranger Things', which promises to be a radical shift from Season 3.


Eleven, Mike, and the rest of the Stranger Things gang are about to go on a much darker journey in Stranger Things 4, as shown by Netflix in a collection of first-look photographs.


A slate of first look photographs from the next Stranger Things was released by OTT platform ‘Netflix’ on wednesday. The fourth season of Stranger Things will be released in two parts. When the first volume debuts on May 27, the second will follow on July 1.



Stranger Things Season 3 came to an abrupt end with the kids defeating the Mind Flayer, after which the gang was forced to disband. Eleven was overcome with emotion as she departed Hawkins with the Byers. Season 4 picks up six months after the harrowing tragedy at the Starcourt Mall in the previous season.



Stranger Things 4 was created by the Duffer Brothers; according to the official description, "It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down."


Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Brett Gelman, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke are among the cast members of Stranger Things Season 4.
