New Delhi: Looks like New Year is bringing in alot of film announcements and new looks down South. On the first day of 2024, a new poster of 'Devara' starring Jr. NTR was released. In the poster, we see the 'RRR' actor on a small boat sailing through the high seas. The actor's expression looks fearless and unperturbed. In the backdrop, we get to see a fleet of similar boats. The poster has a mythical quality to it.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the new look of 'Devara' on his official Twitter ( X) handle and wrote, "NTR JR - SAIF ALI KHAN - JANHVI KAPOOR: ‘DEVARA’ GLIMPSE ON 8 JAN… After the #Blockbuster success of #RRR, #NTRJr will be seen next in #Devara… Here’s the #NewPoster… #DevaraGlimpse unveils on 8 Jan 2024.
Directed by #KoratalaSiva, the film also features #SaifAliKhan and #JanhviKapoor… #Devara will be released in two parts… First part arrives on 5 April 2024. #JrNTR #NTR30.”
Anuridh Ravichander, who has composed music for 'Devara' also shared the new look of the film and wrote, "Celebrating the #YearOfFEAR with a bang. Wishing you all an electrifying #Devara Year! A fully loaded wave will hit you on January 8th with a solid #DevaraGlimpse 🌊.”
Along with the poster, 'Devara' also shared that the first-look teaser of the film will be released on January 8.
After 'RRR' fans had been eagerly waiting for Jr. NTR's next film until he finally announced the film amid much fanfare. However, the Telugu superstar had asked his fans not to create a pressure about updates as it becomes counter-productive for the film and the people associated with it.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film marks Janhvi Kapoor's South debut. She will also be collaborating with Jr NTR for teh first time.
Set in a coastal town, 'Devara' marks Jr. NTR's 30th movie. It also stars Saif Ali Khan and Ramya Krishna.
Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, 'Devara' is all set to release on April 5, 2024.
