New Delhi: Rita Shukla, Sidharth Shukla's mother, who is affectionately referred to as Rita Maa, by his admirers, recently made an unusual appearance on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. On February 18, she participated in a live discussion held on the Brahma Kumaris' social media page while attending an event the group had organised. Interestingly, Shehnaaz Gill was also present at the event and they both attended the opening ceremony of the Maha Shivratri Mela.

At the event, Rita was seen joining the team for a live interaction where she expressed her gratitude towards the actor’s fans. She said, "All I want to say is that I love you all and I receive all your messages. It makes me happy to know that so many of you love me and the only reason behind all this love is Sidharth Shukla".

The video was shared by a fan page and netizens dropped their comments on the video. One of them said, "Love u Rita maa.", while another person said, "Siddharth sukla ko meri taraf se bahut bahut duaa."

Shehnaaz Gill was also seen at the inauguration ceremony of the event. She was dressed in a yellow salwar suit and was seen lighting the lamp at the event. A series of photos were also shared on Instagram by Brahma Kumaris Lokhandwala. They captioned the post saying, "Respected Yogini didi ji along with loving Sister Shehnaaz Gill inaugurating the Grand Mahashivratri Mela."

Looking at the pictures, a fan commented, "Will always see Sidharth Shukla in our Shehnaaz and glad to see she continues his mission to spread peace and love. I'm greater believer in giving back to the world more than receiving. The love and respect bestowed on Sidharth's memory is his reward for the good he did in his life towards betterment of the less privileged. Shehnaaz n Sidharth both have done great service for BK and its causes. Praying that it continues long after their innings."

Television actor Sidharth Shukla died due to a massive cardiac arrest on September 2, 2021.
