Sidharth Malhotra who is currently basking in the success of recently released film 'Shershaah' based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) resumed shooting for his upcoming film 'Mission Majnu' along with leading lady and Rashmika Mandanna on Monday.



The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP), Amar Butala and Garima Mehta (Guilty By Association Media), written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora and Sumit Batheja, and Directed by Shantanu Baagchi.

Talking about resuming shooting, Garima Mehta said, "After a brief pause, 'Mission Majnu' is back in action with strict protocols and guidelines. In this 15-day schedule, we will shoot critical sequences of the film. It's great to be on the sets again and the cast and crew are excited to move towards the successful completion of the film."

The first 45-day schedule was shot across locations in Lucknow. The second schedule of the shoot has started with Sidharth, Rashmika, Sharib Hashmi, Parmeet Sethi, Anant Mahadevan and Kumud Mishra.


Siddharth Malhotra is currently recieving rave reviews from all quaraters for his role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra, who attained martyrdom in the 1999 Kargil War, in his latest film 'Shershaah'. His role as a soldier has been well-received by the audience.
