The wedding ceremonies of Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, concluded with a lavish reception in Mumbai last night. The event was a glamorous affair, graced by Bollywood's elite, including notable personalities like Neeta and Mukesh Ambani, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh, Gauri Khan and many others. The guest list also included veteran actora like Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Rekha, Saira Banu adn others.
Interestingly, this event was also a kind of reunion of all three Khans of Bollywood. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan graced the occasion with their presence and also had interactions with Aamir Khan. Despite their past ups and downs, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan engaged in friendly talks at the reception. Aamir had previously discussed their evolving relationship in 2014 on Koffee with Karan, acknowledging a genuine regard and respect for each other's work while maintaining a certain guardedness.
Talking about their outfits, Salman Khan looked dapper in an all black outfit comprising a shirt, trousers and a coat as he greeted the other people who were present.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan looked handsome in a white shirt paired with a black coat as he walked with his wife Gauri who looked gorgeous in a maroon velvet salwar suit.
Talking about proud father Aamir Khan, he was seen in a black kurta as he posed with his sons Junaid and Azad.
A day before this grand reception for industry folks, Aamir also held a special lunch for the members of the media where he even spoke about his daughter Ira taking the plunge. He said, "My emotion was like a shehnai, it is an instrument played at weddings, it has a quality that gives you a little happiness, but a little sadness too. It has a mixture of emotions, that’s how I felt."
Meanwhile, for the reception, Ira Khan looked royal in a red lehenga with golden embroidery all over it. She paired it with a matching dupatta and completed her look with heavy makeup, curly hair, bangles and arm length mehendi.
Ira Khan tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, a renowned celebrity fitness trainer. In early January, the couple officially registered their marriage at an elegant ceremony in Mumbai. Following this, both families headed to Udaipur for extended wedding festivities held from January 7 to 10. The reception was the culmination of these celebrations, where Nupur and Ira presented a stunning and harmonious couple.
